uTorrent has clients for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Androidĥ. It has a remote mobile app, where you can track the status of your torrents or add new ones. not so recently ago, and ever since that buy, fans of the program have been bashing on it because it started becoming filled with ads more and more, however, it’s still one of the best torrent clients out there. They have been bought by BitTorrent, Inc. uTorrent has been a reality since 2005, and boy what a roller coaster of a ride have they had. This is historically the most popular best torrent program, as well as the most used one. The main differences between them are that BitTorrent uses a web-based seeding tracker to when a torrent has no seeds and its creator comes from an HTTP- Private trackers are also more friendly with BitTorrent compared to uTorrent. They are almost the same program, with the exception of BitTorrent’s different UI. Which is curious, as they also own and develop the “second best” uTorrent. While its free and has no ads, it is not open source.BitTorrent is, alongside uTorrent, the most used torrent program in the world. Its the only client that allows you to start and stop at specific times including minutes, among other things you can do with it.

If you want a really advanced scheduler, Tixati is the only one out there that does it I believe. It doesn't pause or stop transfers, you can only limit the speed to the minimum of 1KiBps. qBittorent is awesome and opensource but it only has a really basic scheduler to limit speeds at specific times on specific days, not on a per day basis. I don't use a scheduler, and I use qBittorrent. But this acts more like a speed limiter where it pauses transfers by setting the speed limit to 0. You can choose whether it transfers at full speed, it transfers at reduced speeds, it only seeds or it pauses transfers during a specific hour of each day. It has a scheduler plugin built in with a grid style view with one hour blocks if im not mistaken. If open source is your thing, the closest option is Deluge. While its free and has no ads, it is not open source. Click to expand. If you want a really advanced scheduler, Tixati is the only one out there that does it I believe.
